K-2nd Flag Football and 3rd-6th 7v7 Football - Spring 2025

  • Registration:  $110.00 for City of Melissa, $125 for Non Resident
  • Eligible Grades: Registered for grade as of 2024-2025 school year.
  • Length of Season:  A minimum of 7 or 8 regular season games + End of Season single elimination tournament based on standings.  Regular season begins Monday March 17th.  All regular season games are on Monday nights at Craig Ranch in McKinney. Game times 6, 7, 8.
  • Refunds:  There will be no refunds after the first regular season game. Refund requests are subject to a $25 fee.  All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to:  mckinneysportsconnection@gmail.com.
  • Practice:  Will be determined at the discretion of the head coach. Players cannot change teams due to scheduling conflicts.
  • Uniforms & Equipment:  Uniforms and equipment are NOT included in the registration fee.  Ordering information and payment will be determined and handled by the head coach.
  • Coaches: New and returning coaches must click “Volunteer” to register as a coach. All coaches must submit and pass the background check to coach in our league. Background checks are good for one calendar year.
  • FREE AGENTS: Athletes who are new to the league will be placed on teams who need of players or new teams will be formed if we have coaches sign up to volunteer. There is no guarantee of team placement.

Cheerleading - Fall 2025

REGISTER FOR GRADE AS OF 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR

  • Registration Fee:  $300  - Includes Cheer Kit (Uniform, Pom Poms, Backpack OR Megaphone, 2 Bows & Cheer Shoes)

  • Uniform Fitting:  April 26th - Signups for time slots will be provided once registration has closed. Please save the date, this fitting is important to ensure that your child's uniform fits properly. 
  • Refunds: Due to uniforms being custom fitted for your cheerleader, refunds will not be available after the registration deadline.
  • Practice Information: Practice schedules/location will be at the discretion of your assigned coach. 
  • Game Information: Games will typically be on Saturday. The full game schedule will be provided to all coaches/cheerleaders once football registration is closed and teams are assigned.

*Please Note: Cheer registration is earlier than football to allow time for custom uniforms. Squad placement will not be determined until closer to start of season.

  • Sibling Placement Requests: If you have siblings you would like to be placed on the same squad, please provide the sibling's first and last name as well as grade they will be entering. We will do our best to accommodate these requests while keeping age in mind.
  • Parent/Coach Volunteers:  If you would like to volunteer to coach a squad this year please email Cheer@MelissaSportsConnection.org
