Basketball - Winter 2025

Practice:

• Once per week in Melissa - day/time determined by volunteer head coach
• Begins in November

Games:

• Played on Saturday's in Melissa and/or Princeton
• Begins December 6th - No games scheduled on 12/20, 12/27 or 1/3.  Will resume on 1/10.
• 8 Regular Season Games
• Playoffs - 3rd-6th Grade - top 4 teams advance

Equipment:

• Jersey is included in registration cost and will be ordered by MSC  
• Each participant will supply their own shorts, socks, shoes and basketball to use at practice

Registration Deadline:  October 19th

K - 6th Flag Football - Fall 2025

• Registration:  $110.00 per player.
• Eligible Grades: Kindergarten-6th grade. Register for grade for the 2025 - 26 school year. Pre K athletes are not guaranteed a spot unless the coach approves participation on their team. Athletes may play up one grade level. Any other level must be approved by commissioner.
• Length of Season: 7 or 8 regular season games + End of Season Championship Tournament. Regular season begins Saturday, September 6th, 2025.  All regular season games are on Saturday's in McKinney unless rescheduled due to weather.
• Refunds:  There will be no refunds after the first regular season game. Refund requests are subject to a $25 fee.  All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to:  melissasportsconnection@gmail.com.
• Practice:  Will be determined at the discretion of the head coach. Players cannot change teams due to scheduling conflicts.
• Uniforms & Equipment:  Uniforms and equipment are NOT included in the registration fee.
• Coaches: New and returning coaches must click “Volunteer” to register as a coach. All coaches must submit and pass the background check yearly. Please register with the email you intend to communicate with your team. Coaches must attend a mandatory coaches meeting before Season begins (location TBA). • Fall Season Game Play is 7 on7 Flag Football for all Grade Divisions.
